Terms of Service

Welcome to Apidea Education, a product of Apidea Advisory, LLC ("Apidea," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Apidea Education website and app (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian is aware of and consents to your use of the Service.
2. Plans and Billing
Apidea offers three plans: Class Pass ($90, access to one AP class for one year), Class Pro ($150, access to every AP class we offer for one year), and Cram Session ($50, access to every AP class we offer for 30 days). A plan is required to use the Service.
Each plan is a one-time payment, not an auto-renewing subscription. Your access simply ends at the close of the period you paid for — we do not charge your card again automatically. You can renew or switch plans anytime from your Account page, which starts a fresh access period from that day. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; Stripe handles your payment details and emails you a receipt for every payment.
We may change plan pricing from time to time. A price change only applies to payments made after the change — it never affects access you've already paid for.
3. Community Standards
The My School discussion page and other community areas of the Service are meant for respectful, on-topic academic discussion among students. By posting, you agree not to submit content that is offensive, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, threatening, or otherwise illegal.
We may remove any content, and suspend or permanently ban any account, that violates this policy, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. Repeated or severe violations will result in a permanent ban from the Service.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you post (such as School discussion posts and comments), but you grant Apidea a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within the Service for the purpose of operating it.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its study content, design, graphics, and software, is owned by Apidea Advisory, LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written permission.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access it using a method other than the interface we provide, interfering with its normal operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee any particular exam score or outcome from using the Service.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Apidea Advisory, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, including the Community Standards above. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time from your Account page.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Apidea Advisory, LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
